The Stanton Award
The 41st Annual
Stanton Award Honoring
Charlie Collier
Help us make our salute to Charlie an even bigger success!
The Center for Communication honored Charlie Collier, President, Roku Media, with its 2024 Frank N. Stanton Award for Excellence in Communication at a reception on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Essex House in New York City. The Stanton singles out individuals who are charting the industry’s future and who share the Center’s commitment to an inclusive and diverse media.
Charlie joined Roku in October 2022 as President, Roku Media. He brings his entrepreneurial vision to the company, where he seeks to build the Roku’s slate of originals, strike new distribution deals, and introduce innovative partnerships. An industry veteran with more than 25 years of media leadership experience, Charlie has also served as CEO, FOX Entertainment, where he was responsible for FOX’s holistic entertainment vision and business leadership. Prior to joining FOX, Charlie was President and General Manager of AMC, SundanceTV, and AMC Studios, overseeing the creative and business operations of all three divisions and launching such iconic series as Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Better Call Saul. Charlie previously held leadership roles at Court TV, Oxygen Media, and A+E Networks.
The 2024 Stanton celebration paid tribute to Charlie’s extraordinary achievements, celebrated our mutual commitment to diversity in the industry, and showcased the Center's talented student community.
Stay tuned for our 2025 honoree!
