In the early 70s, NYPD undercover cop Frank Serpico blew the whistle on the corruption and payoffs then rampant in the police department. The heroism that nearly cost him his life, was immortalized in the classic film Serpico starring Al Pacino. Now in the documentary Frank Serpico, Antonino D'Ambrosio presents the story of the real Serpico, who revisits his crusading cops and robbers days, and an iconoclastic life. ANTONINO D'AMBROSIO, DIRECTOR, FRANK SERPICO
Antonino D’Ambrosio is an author, filmmaker and visual artist. D’Ambrosio’s most recent film Frank Serpico, recently premiered to critical acclaim in the Spotlight section of the Tribeca Film Festival and will be released theatrically by IFC Sundance Selects in Fall 2017.
D’Ambrosio has two docu-series in production with Sony Masterworks. The first, The Magic Box, is a multi-part series about socially relevant Broadway musicals including Cabaret, Camelot, Sweeney Todd, among others. The second is When Music Mattered of which D’Ambrosio’s Johnny Cash film is the first in a multi-episode series. D’Ambrosio’s other film work includes No Free Lunch starring comedian Lewis Black.
D’Ambrosio was New York University’s Gallatin Lecturer, an honor bestowed upon a contemporary artist creating innovative and social engaging work and Artist-In-Residence at the Center for Contemporary in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he produced the natural land art installation and multi- media project La Terra Promessa, which included the production of D’Ambrosio’s film series In Sun and Shadow. He is the founder of the nonprofit La Lutta NMC, selected by The Nation as one of the top independent media groups.

Raeshem is a United Nations Global Accelerator Delegate and has held multiple creative leadership positions including Executive Producer of MTV World and Showrunner of MTV's Rebel Music. She has Executive Produced leading edge integrated marketing campaigns including Intel's award-winning The Music Experiment featuring bands like Of Monsters and Men and Arcade Fire. She is currently producing a film with the United Nations and the Gates Foundation about the making of the Global Goals. She is a passionate advocate for women and girls, committed to educating women about sexual health and safety through a partnership with the NYU Department of Population Health. Raeshem sits on the Creative Council for EMILY'S List.
