eliot pierce, chief product officer, the new republic
Eliot Pierce is the Chief Product Officer of the New Republic responsible for the New Republic's digital products and technology. Previously, Eliot was the General Manager of Bloomberg Politics and a digital media consultant who helped companies grow their revenue and audience by focusing on developing amazing products and strategic partnerships. Eliot worked for the The New York Times for over 9 years on a wide variety of their digital initiatives — email, crosswords, paid content, business development, strategy and ad operations. Eliot grew up in the Hudson Valley, studied History at Brown, has an M.B.A. from NYU and lives in New York with his wife and two daughters.
gabriel snyder, editor in chief, THE NEW REPUBLIC
Gabriel Snyder is the Editor in Chief of the New Republic, where he is responsible for the editorial vision and strategy for the organization. Before coming to the New Republic, Snyder has served as editor-in-chief of Gawker, executive editor of Newsweek Digital, and editor of The Atlantic Wire, a digitally-native news site launched by The Atlantic. As a writer, he has reported on media and culture for publications including The New York Observer, Variety, and W Magazine. Snyder grew up in Nashville, studied American History at Yale, and currently lives with his family in Brooklyn.

Prior to joining CNN in November 2013, Stelter was a media reporter at The New York Times. Starting in 2007, he covered television and digital media for the Business Day and Arts section of the newspaper. He was also a lead contributor to the "Media Decoder" blog.
