steven hajar, creator, Affordable NYC
A Silicon Valley native, Steven moved to the Big Apple to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Receiving a BFA in Drama with a minor in Cinema Studies, Steven studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and the Experimental Theater Wing. Steven has also studied improv at UCB, the PIT, and the Magnet Theater in NYC.
Steven is constantly looking for new collaborations to become involved in: onstage or onscreen, on the page or on the street. Steven's personality has been described as endearing and earnest, with an offbeat sense of humor (a peculiar mix of self-deprecation and dad jokes). Steven operates under the belief that any form of communication can become a work of art, that art's purpose is to bring us closer together by any medium necessary.
